Acknowledging our anger is an affirmation of our humanity. Our loving response is to develop our awareness on how anger can be exploited for getting our way. Anger is neither good nor bad. When we have identified anger's various guises (through the help of a mentor or counselor), we can recognize how anger looks like (symptoms) and our style of anger (whether dumping or stuffing anger).
