Flying Solo

Are you a solo flying Christian? Are you the type who isolates yourself from your friends when you get into trouble, making the excuse YOU WANT TO BE ALONE WITH GOD?

I heard this phrase used too much from my friends who don't want to hear the words "I told you so". They make it a sorry excuse. It's sickening to hear or read about it, but the truth of the matter is... we are all sometimes like this. I am also guilty of being one. Forgiveness is a big issue for me as of the moment. I know what I have to do. I heard everything I need to hear to be able to forgive. I am sort of sick and tired about hearing about forgiveness. I was about to run and say the overly used excuse "I WANT TO BE ALONE WITH GOD' cop-out. But, God always finds ways for me to be reminded about forgiveness. It's through the fellowship of my fellow Christians who unknowingly are being used by God so that I may be reminded. The discussion group I'm taking part of helps me extremely in realizing a lot of stuff about my walk with God. Because of all these, I am reminded that there may be stuff we can do on our own, but our spiritual walk is not one of them. We need the fellowship of the people around us to grow. They are God's tool to be able to reach us. With that said, here's a video about fellowship and spiritual growth that I got from youtube. I hope you'd also be reminded, the way it reminded me.

  3. Seeking help from the people we love helps. Running away just makes it run after us. Eventually, mahahabol din tayo. ;)
