Nakiki-elam Ako!!!

While on our way to some resort in Pangasinan, this is what I was hearing from the couple at the back of the van we were in.

SCENE - A Filipina Pangasinense and her Bahrain-ian(?) husband. Let's just call them Rofa and Ylmas.

Rofa: Left is kaliwa.
Ylmas: Kalawa?
R: No, KALIWA
Y: Kaliwa.
R: Yes! And right is kanan.
Y: Kanan?
R: Yes.
Y: So it's kalawa and kanan?
R: No, kaLIwa, LIWA, LI not LA, KALIWA, letter "I"!
Y: Oh, kaLIwa, left.
P: Yes!!!
Y: So, kaliwa, left, kanan, right?
R: Correct!!! And straight is diritso... (spelling) D, I, R, I, T, S, O... DIRITSO!!!

(I passed out... Rofa turned Anabel in just a few minutes.)

    no dude! i took the bus to get to pangasinan too! hahaha! commuter ito! all is good, though work is busy as usual! i will just pas your cd copy to ven or ged so you get a copy of your pix! hahaha, siguro next emceeing mo... hmm wedding ko??? bwahahahaha!!!
