The Un-Valentines Blog

Ever since the world began (he he he he), I didn't liked Valentines. Every time it comes around, I wear black, and pretend to shoot down every being I see wearing red or bringing anything RED. Unfortunately, though, I cannot find a suitable black shirt to wear a while ago before I meet up with Kei, so I wore my blue Banana Republic t-shirt instead.

A few weeks ago, I asked Kei if she wanted to celebrate Valentines. Of course, I was willing to SACRIFICE my loathing for it for her, but to my surprise, she said no, she didn't want to(YEY!!!). So, I told her, Valentines Day, I’ll just go to her house, eat goto and just spend quality time together (very unromantic, yes???). I also asked her if she’d want to join me in my protest and wear black (she did wear black, he he he).

So, to make a long story short, we bought porridge and added tapsilog and a liter of Sprite to our feast, and went to her house. After setting the table, Kei went to her bedroom while I sat at the dining table. Then, she said…

 “Alam kong ayaw mo ng Valentines, pero…”

 then handed me these…

WAAAAAAHHH!!! I was so relaxed and comfortable bringing NOTHING to her house and wearing my house clothes, then she whips up this very nice, sweet, and unforgettable gesture of love that I turned a hundred different shades of red while looking at the stuff she gave. I felt so special and loved at that moment… not that she doesn't’t make me feel that way, but this day, she showed me how she KNEW me.

Kei… what can I say… eto na lang siguro…

Kei, Mahal kita… intayin mo pag-bawi ko. ;)
