Stressed Out

Ask anyone who knows me, they know that after every important event I handle, I suffer from what I call "after event stress". I can still feel the strain on my shoulders from the JUST FINISHED wedding ceremony of good friends Josh and Reah.

Usually, I feel an overwhelming surge of depression when I go through this phase. Thank GOD I'm not going through it right now, but there are certain things I am dreading... Common stuff, you know. Well, if you're in my position, you'd know what I'm talking about (the "you can't please everybody" thing). Haven't heard anything yet, but it's nagging at the back of my mind.

Right now, all I want to do is rest, recuperate (my voice is always hoarse every time I wake up since after the event), and thank God every waking moment how I was able to be a blessing to the new couple. Of all the events I handled, this has got to be the toughest because it's personal. I KNOW the people who got married, and I was surrounded by oh-so-familiar people who knew me. WAAAAHHH!!! Confession time, I nearly always PEED in my pants everytime someone would call my name during the wedding!!! But all in all, I also had fun!

NOW BACK TO REALITY AGAIN!!! I'm blogging!!! I'M BLOGGING!!!

    hey guys, for the record, my daughter said this was one event that was quite long BUT NEVER BORING! i dunno about you, but, to me, that's quite a compliment coming from an attention-span-challenged teen!

    and i gotta agree - the whole evening went from one great thing to another.

    once again... great job guys! give glory to God! ...and a high five to one another for a job truly well done!
