This blog (and picture) is two years old ata. Anywho... it's funny and true!!! Read it! Come on... you know you want to... :P
For the past 5 days, I have been pushing myself in the gym. Now, my inner thighs are burning like hell, and my butt-cheeks are sort-of numb. Plus, my tummy is in constant pain since day two. But actually, what I really want to share to you guys is what happened on day three.
To begin the story, I was at Rachel's house before I went to Slimmers World. I had a voice tutorial with one of the actors of Axtar. But before I started my session with my student, Rachel offered to serve me food first before I start; ginisang munggo. Now, if you really know me, I am the kind of person who's more ashamed of not accepting stuff given to me, especially food. So, I ate. After eating and after my session with Tinay, my student for the day, the mung beans started to DO their stuff... I was flatulating. Since I was with friends, I was admitting to every sound(and smell) that they heard(and sniffed).
On my way to Slimmers, I was still farting. Good thing though, it was just all air, I guess I have already released all the foul odor at Rachel's house. While I was at the treadmill, I was still farting. Good thing no one was behind me every time I felt a BIG one come out of my ass.
In my fitness program, after warming up, I had to do stretches, so I went to the third floor of Slimmers to look at the pictures of how the stretches should be done. Easy enough, so I did them. Now, there were two girls next to me while I was doing my stretches, so I was very cautious with what I was doing, and at the same time squeezing my butt-cheeks to stop any flatulence from escaping.
Whew!!! That was hard!!! Now since there were still lots of people using the machines, I decided to start with my abdominal exercises first, which was a pretty good idea since I already have an exercise mat because of the stretches. It was 30 reps of two sets for each abdominal part. I started with the regular crunches (JOANNA!!! I suddenly missed you!!!). Argh... my aching tummy!!! Then after that, the reverse crunch, same reps, same set. So I began to raise both legs in the air. And when I was about to bend them to reach my chest... it happened...
"BBBBRRRRRRFFFFFF!!!!!"
It was loud, unapologetic, but odorless!!! Now for fear of being pegged as The Guy Who Farted During His Reverse Crunches, I just went on with I was doing. Good thing, though, that the mat I was using somehow makes the same sound when you move a lot... so I moved a lot to make more noise!!! I looked at the girls next to me, they weren't looking at me or making any faces, so I guess (or rather hoped against all hope)that they didn't heard the ruckus my butt-hole made. I was really trying to stop myself from laughing. But everytime I do, I release small amounts of audible farts...
Ha ha ha. I really should be embarrased, but for some strange reason, I'm not. Is this because of all my theater workshops? Has it made me into an unapologetic guy??? I HOPE SO!!! (fffffttttthhhhhhh.....)
hello bro.......same here, for the last four months im pushing myself too hard on the treadmill and "weights" today i can stand up when i woke up , i suspected its a pulled hamstring ("OUCH" really), have to stay home cant go to the office too.
ReplyDeleteI don't go to the gym anymore. Much as I'd want to, I don't have the finances anymore. But I do try to swim laps four times a week and play badminton in between, plus I have street dance rehearsals during weekends. Now I'm missing a week's worth of this due to my UTI, I'm in pain kasi... Oh well...
ReplyDeletethank you Nio, you remind me to get in-shape....right now my only exercise is gardening, carrying heavy stull with a wheelbarrow or a cart....
