Let's start at the very begining

Maria (Julie Andrews) was actually right when she sang that very first line of that song... starting at the very begining is indeed a very, very good place to start. So, here's the 101 on Bernardo Tanggarorang-Alesna Manzano... in a nutshell.

I was born January 13, 1977, two years before Elvis died. If you're doing your math right now, let me just save you the trouble of calculating how old I am... I am 28 years old... but I don't feel (or look) like it. Photography is something I just learned to love a couple of years ago... but my real passion is music. Lately, I just finished writting a complete musical by my lonesome(there was supposed to be two of us...) and yes... as artist come, I am a bit eccentric... specially when I was a lot thinner(coz then, I can get away with just about anything I was wearing)

Two years ago was a turning point for me... I've been in a very bad relationship with someone who was respected(emphasis on the WAS). No... it wasn't a lovey-dovey kind of a relationship... it was a BFF kind of thing(if you are watching As Told By Ginger at Nickelodeon, then you'd know what I'm talking about). Bottomline... that experience taught me a very valuable lesson about self worth. It also made me realize that villians in movies are not just figments of someone's great imagination... they exist, and they live amongst us. It also made me realize that no matter how big and great looking the planet Jupiter is... it's nothing but an ornament in the universe... and we can live without it.

I know I sound bitter... but there are lots of facets to my personality. I am a greatful person, a man of faith, a great friend, a loving brother, an open ear, a great, wide, welcoming hug, and so much more. My heart may be closed when it comes to matters concerning THE OTHER HALF... but I am capable of loving... it's just not my time yet, no matter what people say.

Get to know me... don't bother knowing me... get facinated by me... call me a jerk... call me stupid... call me ANYTHING!!! But never... EVER!!!... call me Bernie!!!... coz he's my Dad and he's doesn't like being called Nio also.
